A presentation to the members of WLUG

This presentation is meant as a semi-in-depth review about Civilization: Call
to Power (from now on just called CTP).
Notes:
My background is as an occasional game player; specifically limited
to Age of Empires and StarCraft (Windows-based games -- sorry), which
are both what I call "real-time" strategy games. CTP is turn
based, much like a traditional D&D-type RPG. I have not played any of
the earlier Civilization games, nor have I tried out Freeciv, etc. Please do
not expect a comparison.
All of the information is taken from the 1.0 and 1.1beta releases. (I
haven't had enough time to really try out the 1.1 final release yet.)
This presentation is by no means complete. CTP is fairly complex,
and there are parts which you should find out about for yourself.
There are no "external" links in the actual presentation. The
final "slide" has all of the links on one page for you. (Note:
There is one exception to this -- it is clearly marked.)
If you have any comments about this presentation, please feel free to
send me some email at felicity@kluge.net.
