Macsyma Developments
Senior Year Thesis Project (MQP), WPI
(September 1997 until April 1998)

Collaborated as a team with the math software company Macsyma, Inc. to broaden functionality within the Macsyma software package. Developed algorithms and code using built-in Macsyma language to implement Mathieu functions (solutions to a special linear second order differential equation which models vibrations of an elliptical membrane).

The Digital Peddler: A Multimedia CD-ROM Yearbook
Junior Year Interdisciplinary Project (IQP), WPI
(October 1996 until May 1997)

Design and implementation of a multimedia CD-ROM prototype version of the WPI yearbook (The Peddler). The prototype used enhanced HTML for layout, Quicktime VR movies, digitized video and audio clips, still photos, and text to represent WPI over a year. Specialized on the data gathering, and created and performed the statistical audience analysis within our multidisiplinary team.
